Horseback Camping

We provide food, tents, and all accommodations during your trip. All you need to bring is your personal gear. If you intend to fish, you will need to bring your tackle and purchase a license upon arrival in Cody. Please limit gear to thirty pounds per person plus your sleeping bag. One soft army type duffel bag is best.

Guests should arrive in Cody at least one day before their trip is scheduled to begin. Guests are responsible for hotel accommodations and meals prior to and after your trip. We can help with hotel arrangements if you desire. You will be picked up at your hotel after breakfast the first day of your trip and returned there at the end of your trip.

Base Camp Adventures

These trips are the closest thing to being home. Large wall tents with cots and foam mattresses, along with a wood stove for heat, are the sleeping quarters. Combine this with a cook tent, a dining tent, and a shower tent and you have first class mountain accommodations. These trips take you to one of our three base camps. One of these is Buffalo Bill Cody's original hunting camp.

High Country Adventures

A beautiful timber fringed meadow with a stream flowing through it is the most common campsite. If you were to close your eyes and envision your next outdoor adventure, picture yourself on one of our guided horseback camping trips. There is so much wildlife and scenery to explore, we are sure you will leave Wyoming feeling refreshed and inspired.

Fishing for a Compliment?

Trophy Fishing

Fishing is available on most of our trips, but these trips go to the mountains with fishing as the main objective. A professional fishing guide will join the crew to show you all the tricks to land the big ones. Rainbow, cutthroat, and brook trout are the main fish you will be catching. These trips can be conducted from the base camps or from a high country camp.

Wildlife Viewing

An occasional bear is seen on some of our trips. We engage in bear viewing trips in late August to take you into the high basins to watch theatrics as the bears gather to feed on the moth fields. Spotting scopes and binoculars are used to view the Wyoming wildlife from a distance so as not to disturb them. This is a very exciting and informative high country adventure.
